About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SHEQ Advisor to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our SHEQ team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (SHEQ) compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the SHEQ team in providing SHEQ compliance, advice, and guidance on applicable legislation and industry best practice.
  • Prepare and review risk assessments and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inductions, training, and toolbox talks to ensure employees are aware of SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and deliver internal audits, on-site inspections, and report on SHEQ performance for business operations, office, and field-based activities.
  • Support the investigation of incidents, analyze data, and present findings to the management team.
  • Review and audit vendors to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
  • Prepare reports on performance against objectives, targets, and SHEQ performance, as well as support associated communications.
  • Assist with the implementation of divisional and Group SHEQ initiatives.

Person Specification:

  • Proven previous experience in a health and safety position.
  • Civils or construction experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • A NEBOSH General Certificate, ideally TechIOSH status, and experience with ISO standards.
  • Good technical knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • A confident and experienced trainer.
  • ISO internal auditor qualification is an advantage but not essential.
