We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Quality Improvement Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for implementing process improvements and ensuring high-quality products.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This role requires a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, experience with statistical software packages, and excellent problem-solving skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns the collection, processing, and analysis of manufacturing process data to troubleshoot current line issues and build a predictive model for unplanned downtime
  • Exercise statistical methods to improve manufacturing quality across established product lines
  • Troubleshoot manual and automated production equipment, determining root cause and corrective action

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-4 years' experience in a hands-on, production manufacturing engineering role with medical devices
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications and Visio
