Job Description

At Granite State Manufacturing, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning and preparing production in collaboration with the Master Scheduler for the manufacture of industrial or commercial products.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, as well as six months to one year of related experience and/or training. They will also possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), Windows based computer programs, M1, and ERP/MRP based company-wide sales order administrative systems (Visual MFG).

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Process Coordinator include:

  1. Strategic workflow planning: Systematically plan workflows for each department, aligning with established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
  2. Documentation expertise: Manage the completion of essential shipping paperwork (C of C's, Data Packs, etc.).
  3. Quality assurance: Conduct thorough examinations of outgoing shipments to guarantee compliance with specified quality standards.
  4. Optimized production sequencing: Plan the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations to provide clear guidance to production workers.
  5. Project status assessment: Confer with department supervisors to assess the status of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with timelines.
  6. Detailed reporting: Prepare comprehensive production reports, offering insights into key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Manufacturing Process Coordinator will also demonstrate responsibility and accountability for creating a professional, safe, and clean environment. This includes being at work on time to perform assigned duties, following the policies of Granite State Manufacturing, wearing safety glasses in designated areas, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, and following safety practices to prevent errors.
