Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated Junior Imaging Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our R&D team, you'll play a crucial role in the analysis and enhancement of 3D X-ray imaging across various applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments to showcase existing imaging capabilities
- Analyze results to inform product development, including reviewing relevant literature
- Collaborate with the Imaging Scientist to design and carry out formal imaging tests during product development
- Develop new tomosynthesis X-ray imaging techniques for both medical and non-medical applications
- Support the broader team with imaging tasks and analysis
- Engage with customers to understand their imaging needs and demonstrate our products
- Develop prototype image processing tools for R&D purposes
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or C++ preferred)
- Familiarity with image processing tools and techniques
- Strong data analysis skills, including image quality assessment
- Experience in planning and executing experiments independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and scientific findings to both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
