Purchase Ledger Assistant

Sewell Wallis Ltd is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team in Horsforth. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process, ensuring timely payment to suppliers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inputting large volumes of supplier invoices into the purchase ledger system
  • Managing the finance inbox and responding to phone queries from suppliers and internal branch staff
  • Dealing with supplier queries and resolving any issues in a timely manner
  • Generating supplier payment runs to ensure timely payment to suppliers
  • Forecasting cash payments to ensure accurate financial planning
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a Purchase Ledger role
  • Currently or most recently working in a busy finance department
  • Experience dealing with supplier queries and resolving issues
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
