Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at JHE & Partners Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing payments, managing supplier accounts, and ensuring accurate financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payments and manage supplier accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Use Dynamics 365 and FMS systems to deliver payment files to the Treasury team for processing
  • Process foreign currency and GBP payments, ensuring they are in the correct format before being sent for approval
  • Provide remittance advice to external suppliers in advance of payment to avoid unnecessary queries
  • Work collaboratively with the Purchase Ledger team to achieve daily tasks and support other areas as needed
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in Purchase Ledger or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Full training will be provided to ensure you are comfortable in the role
