JHE & Partners are pleased to be working with a well-established and respected client based in West Leeds, as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk. You can either work within the payments team or invoicing processing, You will be working in a very friendly and supportive office.
**Responsibilities and Requirements**
- Take responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of all payments being made from the business
- Use and understand the Dynamics 365 and FMS systems to deliver payment files to the Treasury team for processing through the bank
- Process foreign currency and GBP payments and ensure that these are in the correct format before being sent for approval
- Ensure external suppliers are sent remittance advices in advance of their payment being received to avoid unnecessary queries
- Resolve and respond to supplier queries from both internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner both in writing and verbally
- Work well within a team environment and take personal responsibility for tasks allocated daily
- Support the Purchase Ledger team in other areas when needed, including invoice processing and expense audits
- Provide timely and accurate processing of payments
- Deliver appropriate responses to both internal and external stakeholders when a query is received.
