We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Brickwork Instructor - Part Time with DCA Recruitment.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in bricklaying, ensuring students receive a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the trade. This includes planning and delivering lessons, using various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, and providing clear demonstrations of bricklaying techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in bricklaying, incorporating theoretical and practical components.
  • Use diverse teaching methods to engage students and promote understanding.
  • Conduct hands-on demonstrations of bricklaying techniques to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
  • Enforce strict health and safety guidelines during practical lessons, adhering to a three-point Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policy.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of industrial experience in brickwork, demonstrating expertise in the trade.
  • Possession of an NVQ Level 2 or higher qualification in brickwork, showcasing skills and knowledge in the field.
  • A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or Cert Ed, is preferred but not essential.
  • An up-to-date DBS is required.

Compensation Package:

The estimated salary for this position ranges from £27,891 to £43,474, pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
