Financial Operations Analyst / London / Hybrid 2 Days Per Week / £25,000-£30,000 Plus Benefits

The global travel industry is vast and varied, presenting challenges and opportunities for every travel company.

As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will ensure all reconciliations are performed accurately and in a timely manner across all currencies and entities. You will work closely with the Head of Financial Operations and may deputise as needed to ensure financial operational processes, including deposit matching, FOA debtor tracking, customer funding pulls, customer refunds, and platform manual adjustments, are performed accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the production of the reconciliation that reconciles payment platform to bank account across all currencies
  • Oversee production of daily validations for payment platform reconciliation
  • Maintain oversight of bank charges, rebates, unmatched deposits, refunds, manual adjustments, and negative customer balances, ensuring issues are highlighted, rectified, and escalated in a timely manner
  • Analyse, investigate, and resolve historical differences within the reconciliation spreadsheet
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • Finance graduate
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA part qualified or similar financial qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Relevant experience in reconciling financial data
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a wider Finance team
  • Ability to effectively support the Head of Financial Operations to develop and progress the Financial Operations team
