Job Summary

As an Advanced Practitioner with DHU Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to elevate your career and make a significant difference in the lives of patients. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team at Loughborough Urgent Treatment Centre (LUTC).

Main Duties
  • Practice autonomously without direct supervision, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients.
  • Recognize the need for and initiate relevant diagnostic investigations, as well as advise on specialisms when necessary.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, making clear decisions with confidence and effectively communicating them to patients and carers.
  • Work within guidelines and policies, supporting the implementation of policies in your work area and participating in working groups as required.
  • Lead and participate in clinical audit cycles as needed.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: £59,226 - £69,066 (Band)
  • Generous annual leave entitlement: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days + 8 bank holidays.

Requirements
  • Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with the relevant professional council.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
  • A minimum of 2 modules at level 7, including assessment of clinical examination skills.
  • Substantial autonomous practice, working in a multi-professional team.
  • Demonstrate a broad and sound knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care, including adults and children.
  • Show evidence of using autonomous physical examination and assessment skills in practice.
