Job Title: DevOps Institute Subject Matter Expert

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Institute Subject Matter Expert to join our Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing content that supports our mission to elevate the DevOps Institute brand and portfolio.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the DevOps ecosystem and competition landscape. They will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining DevOps Institute Official Books, Exams, Official Training Materials, and Digital Content. The ideal candidate will have experience in product development, content creation, and collaboration with Subject Matter Experts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation, review, and maintenance of DevOps Institute content
  • Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to drive the global success of DevOps Institute
  • Collaborate closely with Product Architects and Product Managers to ensure that all DevOps Institute content aligns with the overall product strategy and vision
  • Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert to support the broader organization, including internal trainings and webinars as required
  • Collaborate with the Product Architects and other internal teams to help identify, onboard, and manage a comprehensive database of external Subject Matter Experts
Requirements
  • 5+ years' relevant experience working with DevOps Institute products in a training or consultancy role
  • Be certified with as many as possible DevOps Institute/DevOps certifications
  • Be certified with as many as possible related certifications from the PeopleCert portfolio, and/or other providers
  • Solid understanding of the DevOps ecosystem and competition landscape
  • Experience in product development
  • Experience in authoring, reviewing, and editing content
  • Experience in collaborating with Subject Matter Experts
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Excellent writing and project management skills
  • Native or excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification is required)
  • Advanced computer literacy is required
