Barnardo's is seeking an experienced leader to manage our dynamic team and oversee the delivery of vital services to children aged 0-4 and their families across a wide geographical area.
As a Children's Services Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting staff, leading engaging team meetings, collaborating with key organisations, monitoring and managing finances, overseeing service delivery and reporting, planning and coordinating service development, and working closely with the Management Committee.
We are looking for an individual with a degree or professional qualification in Social Work, Teaching, Youth and Community Work, Nursing, Community Development, or Early Years, and experience in promoting and developing services for children and families.
The successful applicant will also have proven management experience, including managing and responding to safeguarding concerns, senior management experience managing large teams of 10 and over, demonstrable experience and knowledge of issues facing children aged 0-4 and their families, and the ability to meet travel requirements for the role.
Salary: £42,016 - £53,176 per annum. Benefits include 26 days annual leave, a contributory pension scheme, an additional holiday purchase scheme, staff discounts, and access to a Group Personal Pension with a matched 4% or 6% contribution from Barnardo's.
