Join Our Community
We are looking for volunteers to join our community of shop supporters in Fulham, London. As a charity shop volunteer, you will play an essential role in raising vital funds for our work with children.
About the Role
This is a voluntary, unpaid role based in the UK. We are unfortunately not able to provide support with visa requests. As a shop volunteer, you will be responsible for sorting and pricing stock, engaging with customers, ringing items through the till and creating fantastic window displays. You will also help keep our shop floor looking organised.
The role is flexible, and you can commit as much or as little time as you like. Many of our volunteers support us for a couple of hours a week, while others do more. It's up to you
Skills and Experience
We welcome applications from people with a wide range of skills and experiences. You don't need any retail or shop experience as full training will be provided. What's important to us is that you are a team player, open to learning and to following our policies as well as be an excellent representative for Save the Children.
Salary Information
This is a voluntary, unpaid role. However, if you were to work full-time in this role, based on the average salary for a retail assistant in the UK, it would be around £22,000 per year.
How to Get Involved
If you are interested in volunteering with us, please express your interest by clicking the 'apply' button below. We will then invite you for an informal trial shift, where you can meet some of our existing volunteers and get a feel for the role.
