Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Charity Furniture Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the display, building, and sale of donated furniture at our Sue Ryder charity shop in Ballards Lane, Finchley.

The ideal candidate will have experience with DIY projects, particularly with flat pack items, and be able to follow instructions to build furniture to a high standard. You will also be required to lift and move heavy furniture items, so physical stamina is essential.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to receive donations and deliveries of furniture items, sort and label stock, build and prepare items for sale, and assist customers with their purchases. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy shop environment.

We offer a competitive estimated salary of £10-15 per hour, flexible working arrangements, a volunteer discount on donated goods, and reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses for regular commitments.
