Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Wolverhampton

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a two-form entry school. The role is full-time, with hours from 08:30-15:30.

About the Position:

  • Providing support to pupils with SEN in their designated school support unit.
  • Potential for long-term supply staff to become permanent members of the team.
  • Opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic group and contribute to student development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students who require additional support.
  • A strong passion for building relationships and providing tailored assistance.
  • Ability to commit to full-time work.
  • Ideal qualifications include teaching assistant certification, however relevant experience is also considered.
  • An up-to-date DBS check is required.

Compensation Package:

  • Daily rates paid weekly through the PAYE system, estimated at £80-100 per day.
  • Pension contributions (subject to qualifying period).
