About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced teacher to work with Year 6 students, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum and school guidelines.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare assessments.
- Differentiated Instruction: Tailor teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, including students with special educational needs or disabilities.
- Behavior Management: Maintain a positive classroom environment through effective behavior strategies.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of the curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching techniques and resources.
- Parent Communication: Establish open communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
- Collaboration: Work with other teachers and staff to promote a cohesive learning community.
- Planning and Marking: Develop lesson plans, homework assignments, and assessments, ensuring timely marking of student work.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working in primary schools, ideally with Year 6 students
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to student success and well-being
Working Hours and Salary:
This is a full-time position with work hours from Monday to Friday, paid to scale.
