Job Title: Haematology Advanced Medical Practitioner

Mersey Care is seeking an experienced and skilled Haematology Advanced Medical Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Urgent Treatment Centre, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading clinical teams in the delivery of advanced medical practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced level of clinical practice within the recognised remit, working within local and nationally agreed frameworks for Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP).
  • Take responsibility for the supervision/development of junior members of the team.
  • Identify and intervene proactively where circumstances contribute to an unsafe environment for patients, staff or relatives and escalate these to the health and safety team/safeguarding team.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of systems and processes that facilitate patient flow, facilitating timely discharge and preventing hospital admission.

Requirements:

  • Registration with relevant clinical body.
  • Full master's in advanced clinical practice (ACP).
  • V300 Non-medical prescribing.
