Supportive Learning Environment Specialist

We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistants to provide a supportive environment for students with challenging behaviour, barriers to learning, and complex needs.
The school caters for students from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4, offering a tailored approach to meet the unique requirements of each student.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with students, teachers, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques to promote student well-being.
- Provide individualised support to students with varying needs, adapting to their unique requirements and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
- A passionate and non-judgmental individual with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Previous experience working with children/young people with challenging behaviour, Autism, or ADHD in a SEN school or mainstream setting.
- Excellent knowledge of behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in First Aid and Child Protection would be advantageous but not essential.
The estimated salary for these roles is between £18,000 to £19,000 per year, reflecting the importance of your role in supporting our students.
