At Prodrive, we're seeking a seasoned technical leader to oversee our sub assembly department. As Senior Sub Assembly Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a team of technicians to complete work to specified deadlines, ensuring all lifeing records are maintained and updated throughout the event year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall management responsibility of the Sub Assembly Department in the factory.
  • Work to agreed build process and practices.
  • Maintain and oversee all sub assemblies including gearbox, differential, suspension.
  • Ensure that the assemblies & vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to them.
  • Ensure all problems are reported through to engineering or the management team as necessary.
  • Work closely with planning team to ensure continuous improvements on assembly process.
  • Manage the team's workload to ensure deadlines are met both on time and to quality expectations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar senior or supervisory role within Motorsport.
  • Exemplary knowledge of gearbox and motorsport sub-assemblies.
  • Highly organised and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
