Sous Chef Job Description

This Sous Chef position offers a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded Seafood Restaurant in Port Appin, Scotland. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Experience as a strong Chef de Partie in a Rosette quality venue (or equivalent).
  • Ability to lead by example, motivating and guiding the kitchen team.
  • Strong communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.

  • A competitive salary of £34,000, plus approximately £300 extra per month in tips, equating to a total package of around £37,600.
