The Pierhouse Hotel is a Michelin guide and 2 AA Rosetted Seafood Restaurant located in the picturesque town of Port Appin, Scotland.

We are passionate about delivering exceptional service and high-quality cuisine, and we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a strong Chef de Partie with Rosette quality experience to take on a leadership role in our kitchen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, leading a team of chefs, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision
  • Leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional service and high-quality dishes
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
  • Working closely with the head chef to develop and implement new menus and ideas

Salary and Benefits:

A competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, plus approximately £300 extra per month in tips.

A full-time, year-round position with a working week of 4.5 days and 45 hours per week.

A generous package of benefits, including free staff meals, rotated shifts, and a refer a friend bonus of £750.
