Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Warehouse Operative to join our close-knit team at TRCGroup. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, unloading deliveries, and storing goods in the correct locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained at all times.
  • Unload deliveries and check the condition of goods received.
  • Store goods in the correct locations, ready for picking.
  • Record batch codes and best before dates as part of the booking in process.
  • Replenish stock, creating pallet spaces and recording movement.
  • Prepare orders for customer collections throughout the day.
  • Lift at height using reach trucks and safety ladders.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and food regulations.
  • Order picking via pick notes from ambient, chilled, and frozen locations.
Requirements:
  • Accredited reach or counterbalance license, dated within 5 years.
  • A bendi/flexi license is desirable but not essential.
  • Own means of transport is necessary due to the location of the site and shift times.

We offer a competitive pay rate of £12.60, along with a range of benefits, including company pension, death in service, employee assist programme, free parking, sociable working hours, performance bonus, staff discounts, company workwear, and all PPE.

Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, alternating shifts between 06:00-14:30 and 14:30-22:00, with 40 hours per week.
