Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Commission + Car Allowance/Company Car

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Manage your Own Diary

Are you a results-driven sales professional looking for a new challenge in Glasgow? We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager to join our team at WR Logistics.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the Freight Forwarding industry. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective business relationships with new and existing clients, generating and following up sales leads, and promoting our business to new and existing clients.

We offer a fantastic package to help grow our business and Freight Forwarding sector within the UK. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established salesperson who has worked previously for a UK-based Freight Forwarder and has the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience in Air Freight, Road Freight, and/or Ocean/Sea Freight.

Established and tenacious Operators and Account Managers, with multi-modal experience, who are looking to progress their career in Sales will be considered.

Requirements:
  1. Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development Manager Experience is Essential.
  2. Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
  3. Knowledge and experience within Freight Forwarding is Essential.
  4. Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
