Percival is proud to partner with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to recruit a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join their dedicated Fundraising team.

The DEC is a coalition of 15 leading humanitarian charities that respond quickly to global crises. Through national appeals, they raise vital funds to provide emergency aid in disaster-affected areas, saving lives and rebuilding communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, solicit, and develop relationships with trusts and foundations to secure funding for DEC appeals and core costs.
  • Develop and execute stewardship strategies to retain long-term relationships with trusts and foundations.
  • Prepare compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to trust and foundation audiences.

About the Role:

This is a new post developed as part of the DEC's strategy to increase funds raised for both DEC appeals and the DEC Secretariat's core costs. The successful candidate will have a track record of securing significant gifts from trusts and foundations and experience in developing and executing stewardship strategies.
