About the Role

Percival Resourcing Ltd is proud to partner with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to find a highly skilled Trusts and Foundations Manager to join their dynamic fundraising team.

The DEC is a coalition of 15 leading humanitarian charities that come together to respond to major global crises. Through national appeals, they raise vital funds to provide emergency aid in disaster-affected areas, helping to save lives and rebuild communities.

As a key member of the DEC team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure funding from trusts and foundations. This will involve prospecting, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with these key stakeholders, in line with the DEC's vision, mission, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to secure funding from trusts and foundations
  • Prospect, solicit, and steward relationships with trusts and foundations
  • Prepare compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to trust and foundation audiences
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of securing significant gifts from trusts and foundations, as well as experience in developing and executing stewardship strategies for long-term relationships with these stakeholders.

You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with trusts and foundations, as well as internal stakeholders.
