Job Summary

We are offering a challenging and rewarding role as part of our team. As our Children & Young People Officer, you will play a vital part in shaping an inclusive culture at our school. You will assist in creating a learning environment that supports high expectations and contribute to the team's effectiveness. Your primary focus will be on leading the Inclusion team, ensuring pupil learning and achievement needs are met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the educational experience for pupils
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Lead the Inclusion team to achieve outstanding results
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and pupils to build positive relationships
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Passion for supporting vulnerable children
  • Ability to work with families to improve pupil outcomes
  • Sound understanding of statutory policies relating to safeguarding
  • Commitment to developing knowledge and skills of safeguarding and child protection
