Job Opportunity for a Dedicated Physical Education Teacher

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in the region. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons to students of all abilities, encouraging participation and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that foster a positive learning environment and challenge students to achieve their personal best.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive school community.
  • Contribute to the development of extracurricular activities, sports clubs, and fixtures that promote physical activity and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) with a specialism in Physical Education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE, with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Commitment to the development of students both academically and personally, supporting their overall wellbeing.
