We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team at TRC Total Renal Care Inc. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 5 pounds to a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted, perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and use full range of body motions.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and education to improve processes and provide exceptional patient care.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred, including certifications such as BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
