Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Professional to join our team at Someries Juniors, a small and friendly junior school located near the Hertfordshire borders. As a Key Stage 2 Specialist, you will have the opportunity to teach enthusiastic pupils in a supportive and caring environment, promoting their personal development and academic progress.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, with a 0.5 contract, teaching two full days and receiving generous PPA time on another afternoon. You will work in a Year 5 class, sharing the role of class teacher with an experienced and dedicated colleague. There may be the opportunity for two further afternoons of teaching, if desired, for a suitable candidate.

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced teacher who is passionate about junior school education. You will need to be able to converse fluently in spoken English and demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
