We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at Someries Juniors, a small and friendly junior school located near the Hertfordshire borders. As a Key Stage 2 teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with enthusiastic pupils who love learning and are supported by a caring and supportive staff.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 0.5 days per week, with the opportunity to teach two full days and receive generous PPA time on another afternoon. You will be working in a Year 5 class, sharing the role of class teacher with an experienced and dedicated colleague. The ideal candidate will be passionate about junior school education and have a drive to enhance our school further.

Our School

We are a small two-form entry junior school, with a 'family feel' to it. Our school has a supportive ethos, with a culture that encourages calm and orderly conduct and is aspirational for all pupils. We work in collaboration with our outstanding partner infant school to ensure that children benefit from the Someries experience from Nursery to Year 6. Teachers benefit from training and networking opportunities to meet their professional needs.
