Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support children with special educational needs in our school. The ideal candidate will be capable and reliable, with strong literacy and numeracy skills to support individual and group learning needs. Depending on the child's requirements, there may be instances where personal hygiene support is necessary.

Our ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and organized, with a passion for helping children succeed. We offer a well-resourced school with a supportive and friendly community. This role will also involve lunchtime supervision, which may take place indoors or outdoors.

This position is for 31.25 hours per week, term-time plus 5 inset days, with a 30-minute lunch break. Immediate start is available.

Essential Requirements

Applicants for this role must be able to converse fluently in spoken English and provide effective support or advice. Additionally, they must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Scheme.
