About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Design Engineer to join our Chassis, Bodywork and Wings (CBW) Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the design and development of innovative solutions that deliver performance to our Formula 1 cars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of projects assigned to the CBW Team, working closely with Principal and Senior Engineers.
  • Contribute to Research and Development projects within the department, applying your knowledge of mechanical, automotive, or aerospace engineering.
  • Liaise with other engineers and support the wider organisation, including Manufacturing, Quality, Prototype and Test, and Trackside teams.
  • Play an active role in the Vehicle Design Vision, Goals and Strategy to create a best-in-industry high-performance design team.
Requirements
  • A strong background in mechanical, automotive, or aerospace engineering, gained through work experience or academic study.
  • A solid understanding of CAD (preferably NX) and modern-day composites experience, with exposure to design and manufacturing processes.
  • Motorsport experience through internships, Formula Student, or personal projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CAD, preferably NX, and a basic understanding of composites design, including material and manufacturing processes.
