New Business Director

We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Brakes, a leading foodservice business. As a key member of our National Account team, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the North region, with a focus on securing key accounts and driving sales growth.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets in line with the National Account New Business budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional matrix team colleagues to deliver high-quality tender submissions and launch new business wins.
- Contribute to the development of business goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives, and support colleagues as required.
- Proven experience in a new business development or national account role, with a successful track record in winning in multiple sectors and tender management.
- Superb customer relationship and rapport-building skills, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Good commercial acumen and knowledge of the key profit levers, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficient with all aspects of technology, including PowerPoint and Excel, to build presentations and evaluate tenders.
