What You Can Expect

As a Sales Representative at Zimmer Biomet, you'll have end-to-end ownership of inside sales tasks through direct customer interaction and technology-enabled selling. You'll represent a specific product area across the UK & Ireland, reporting to the Sales Manager of your region. You'll drive long-term responsibility for our inside sales accounts, contributing to customer satisfaction and annual sales growth aspirations.

How You'll Create Impact

With end-to-end ownership of inside sales tasks, you'll proactively identify sales opportunities, uncover potential leads, and prepare customized offers and proposals. You'll negotiate and close contracts with customers, develop comprehensive account plans, and engage relevant stakeholders. You'll present our value proposition to potential clients through digital channels, such as virtual demos, videoconferencing, online chat, and telephone calls.

In this role, you'll maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data, including cycle management and sales activities. You'll engage potential customers and facilitate future business opportunities using a data-driven approach.

Collaboration with multicultural teams and cross-functional resources will be integral to your success as a Sales Representative at Zimmer Biomet. You'll work closely with colleagues from our Marketing team, Commercial Excellence team, Business Units, and country field sales teams to leverage expertise, share insights, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Inside sales experience and enthusiasm for leveraging virtual tools and channels for sales, with strong presentation and communication skills over phone and video calls.
  • Commercial, customer, and results orientation, with an account management mindset and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication, oral, and written skills.
  • Capacity for multitasking and passion for continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with digital channels and management of standard computer tools from an inside sales channel, particularly Salesforce.
  • Positive assessment of experience in customer care and sales, especially in digital channels, and complementary training in sales techniques, customer care, business skills, social selling, and social networks.
  • Either knowledge related to medical devices or orthopaedics, or to inside selling.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in technical fields) or relevant experience.
  • Inside sales experience, with additional previous experience in medical devices beneficial.
