About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Syrena House, a 9-bedded male in-patient recovery unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized care to our service users, utilizing the Personalised Care Framework to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Keyworker for identified individual service users, utilizing the Personalised Care Framework process and maintaining accurate records.
  • Contribute to the recovery process and care pathway by utilizing your skills and knowledge in a multi-disciplinary way to provide holistic care.
  • Work in partnership with carers of clients using Triangle of Care initiatives, offering support, advice, and reassurance on sensitive and emotional issues.
  • Maintain and regularly update knowledge of The Mental Health Act 1983 and work within the Code of Practice and Livewell Southwest policies.
  • Take responsibility for the Nurse in Charge role of the unit in the absence of more senior staff, including planning and organisation of daily clinical activity.
