Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours

Job Summary

The Accommodation Advisor will work closely with the Void Surveyors and Allocations Officers to prepare void properties for letting and lead on tenant viewings in the lettings process. The successful candidate will ensure that the Council meets its statutory requirements and maintain accurate records of property and tenancy information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Void Surveyors and Allocations Officers to prepare void properties for letting and conduct tenant viewings.
  • Ensure that property and tenancy records are up-to-date and regularly monitored.
  • Identify residents' needs and provide support accordingly.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders involved in void management.
  • Meet and surpass key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the Council meets its statutory requirements regarding building and Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Understanding of housing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to apply and explain housing policies to tenants.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and mobile technology.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
