A leading market consultancy, 1PGR SERVICES, is seeking a French-speaking Graduate Business Development Associate to join their International Market Expansion practice in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the senior business development team to discover, engage, and convert new clients to help them expand into Asia.
The ideal candidate will have a STEM or Business/Management degree and a deep interest in Asia, particularly Japan, South Korea, China, ASEAN, and India. They will also be keen to work in sales and marketing, with a desire to help western companies expand into Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify high-growth potential companies from a diverse pool of innovative startups, scale-ups, and SMEs in fields including AI, quantum, deeptech, photonics, semiconductors, and net-zero.
• Engage prospective clients through emails, calls, meetings, and trade show visits, targeting CEOs, CCOs, and CTOs.
• Support the global team across Europe, North America, and Asia through research, outreach, proposals, account management, and marketing.
Travel Opportunities:
The role requires regular travel to France (potentially 1 week per month) and occasional travel within Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, with a chance to develop their skills and expertise in business development and international market expansion.
Requirements:
• Fluent level French speaker with excellent writing skills.
• Fluent English.
• University degree ideally in STEM sciences or Business/Management.
• An interest in Sales and Marketing.
• Experience of living in Asia (Japan, South Korea, India, or China highly desirable).
• Ability to speak Japanese, Korean, Hindi, or Mandarin is highly desirable.
