Our client, a leading global supplier of ingredients and premix manufacturing solutions to the food and beverage industries, is seeking an experienced French Speaking Logistics Business Development Associate for a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will support the commercial team in the daily execution of activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage customer orders, confirmations, and inputs
- Monitor customers and liaise closely with commercial, logistics, and quality departments
- Input purchase orders and respond to customer queries in a timely manner
- Send quality documents to customers and liaise with the quality team when necessary
- Send product samples to customers, either handling them in the office or liaising with warehouses
- Provide price quotes to customers, liaising with the Product Management team and collecting necessary information
- Assist with lead qualification and login opportunities on the CRM system
- Monitor shipments to customers and ensure a high level of customer service
- Review and control stock levels for key accounts, ensuring sufficient inventory for contracts
- Produce reports for senior managers and make travel arrangements as required
- Fluency in both French and English
- Background in the Shipping or Logistics industry, with a Food background an advantage
- Detailed orientation and excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with a good chance of a permanent placement. The role offers a hybrid position with good benefits.
