About the Role

At Sugarman Health & Wellbeing, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Autism Support Professional to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with autism, schizophrenia, and challenging behaviours.

Job Description
  • Supporting the individual to maximise their independence and promoting their quality of life.
  • Providing community support, including outings to town, the park, and visiting favourite activities such as playing video games.
  • Promoting life skills, such as cooking, washing, and maintaining their home.
Requirements
  • Able to attend Safety Intervention training provided by Sugarman Health and Wellbeing.
  • The enthusiasm to learn and experience new things.
  • To be willing to embrace the goals the individual wants to achieve.
  • Someone who will go above and beyond for the individual and staff involved in the package.
  • Full enhanced DBS.

Salary and Location

The hourly rate for this role is £13 per hour, with enhanced rates on Bank Holidays. The location is Doncaster, with shifts available days (0700-1900) and nights (1900-0700).
