About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Autism Specialist Caregiver at Sugarman Health & Wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with autism and mental health conditions, providing high-quality care and support in a supportive and inclusive environment.

As an Autism Specialist Caregiver, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide personalized care and support to individuals with autism and mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge through ongoing training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Encouraging independence and promoting life skills, such as cooking and cleaning
  • Engaging in community activities, such as outings to town and visits to local amenities
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to service users

Requirements:

  • Able to attend MAPA training provided by Sugarman Health & Wellbeing
  • Enthusiasm to learn and experience new things
  • Willingness to embrace the goals of service users
  • Able to work in the UK and provide required documents
  • Full enhanced DBS
