Autism Support Professional

Ribbons and Reeves is seeking an exceptional Autism Support Professional to join our team in Barnet. This rewarding role involves providing individualized support to students aged 11-16 with autism, working closely with school staff, parents, and SEN specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop tailored strategies for each student's unique needs in collaboration with school staff and parents.
- Create a structured environment that promotes social skills, classroom participation, and emotional resilience.
- Work effectively with SEN specialists to design comprehensive support plans.
Essential Qualities
Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills are vital for this position. Previous experience in SEN support or working with children with autism is highly valued.
A degree in a relevant field or training/qualifications in SEN or youth support are advantageous but not essential.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
