Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Test Manager to join our dynamic team at Burman Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of testing within our IT estate, covering technical system and integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and both functional and non-functional testing.

About the Role:

As a Test Manager, you will have the opportunity to significantly enhance quality across our organization and provide expert guidance to stakeholders at all levels. You will define the test strategy to include automation, tool sets, and other key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all testing activities across the IT estate, ensuring high-quality test processes and outcomes.
  • Define and communicate the vision for test capabilities, aligning with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Schedule and execute testing within program delivery, ensuring timely and effective results.
  • Develop and maintain reports and analytics to track progress against key performance indicators.
  • Support testing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality test processes and outcomes.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant degree in technical, engineering, or science disciplines, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proven ability to manage fundamental test processes in system, system integration, and user acceptance testing environments.
  • Experience in planning and progressing test activities within broad professional or organizational guidelines.
  • Ability to understand and solve complex, longstanding problems using professional knowledge.
  • Structured, logical, and critical thinking skills to guide stakeholders.
  • Innovative thinking to enhance the quality and efficiency of the testing function.
