Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our team at Burman Recruitment. As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of testing within our IT estate, covering technical system and integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and both functional and non-functional testing.

About the Role:

As a seasoned Test Manager, you will have the opportunity to significantly enhance quality across the organization and provide expert guidance to stakeholders at all levels. You will define the test strategy to include automation, tool sets, and other key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all testing activities across the IT estate, ensuring high-quality test processes and outcomes.
  • Define and communicate the vision for test capabilities, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Schedule and execute testing within program delivery, meeting key performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain reports and analytics to track progress, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Support testing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality test processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in technical, engineering, or science disciplines, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proven ability to manage fundamental test processes in system, system integration, and user acceptance testing environments.
  • Experience in planning and progressing test activities within broad professional or organizational guidelines.
  • Ability to understand and solve complex, longstanding problems using professional knowledge.
  • Structured, logical, and critical thinking skills to guide stakeholders.
  • Innovative thinking to enhance the quality and efficiency of the testing function.
