Job Title: Senior Financial Clerk

Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Financial Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and progressing the financial aspects and business processes on a daily basis.

  • Key responsibilities include handling all communications into the accounts mailbox, managing purchase order logs, preparing payment runs each month on time, and processing sales invoices monthly.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for credit control, monitoring updates, undertaking reconciliation including travel and supplier statements, handling petty cash, and reviewing contract financials for implementation of new projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to new tasks and understand online accounting software.

Requirements:
  • You should be qualified by experience (minimum 3 years) or accountancy qualified (with 3 years minimum work experience).
  • A strong track record of an excellent standard of work with limited supervision is required.

  • A keen eye for detail and methodical approach to processes are necessary for success in this role.
