Job Opportunity: Site Manager - Groundworks and Civils Projects

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Oxford, responsible for overseeing groundworks and civils projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working on complex projects, leading teams, and ensuring exceptional health and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure effective site operations, including labour, materials, and equipment management
• Implement and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
• Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager to ensure project delivery meets commercial, quality, and time objectives

Requirements:
• Proven experience in groundworks and civils projects, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• CSCS certification and SMSTS qualification preferred

Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes pension, life insurance, and paid time off.
