Environmental Infrastructure Manager

Astute People is partnering with a leading Waste Management company to recruit an Environmental Infrastructure Manager for a group role based in Cheltenham.
The Environmental Infrastructure Manager role comes with a competitive salary of up to £44,600.

Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of environmental control and management systems to achieve regulatory compliance.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the environmental management and monitoring infrastructure in place to enable ongoing assessment of performance.
- Investigate environmental compliance issues, formulate solutions, and implement action plans.
- Manage contractors, including inductions, supervision, monitoring, and assistance as required.
- Communicate effectively with the Environmental Agency and other regulatory bodies.
- Take on the role of Project Manager during works on site.
- Travel to other sites within the group as required.
- Experience in managing projects, including liaising with suppliers, creating business cases, and seeing projects through to completion.
- Any experience with Environmental Permits or communicating with the Environmental Agency would be an advantage.
- Full Driving License.
