Environmental Infrastructure Manager

Astute People is partnering with a leading Waste Management company to recruit an Environmental Infrastructure Manager for a group role based in Cheltenham.
The Environmental Infrastructure Manager role comes with a competitive salary of up to £44,600.

Key Responsibilities:- Environmental Control and Management: Ensure that environmental control and management systems are efficiently run and maintained to achieve regulatory compliance.
- Environmental Monitoring: Fully understand the environmental management and monitoring infrastructure in place to allow ongoing assessment of performance.
- Investigations and Solutions: Investigate environmental compliance issues, to formulate solutions and action plans.
- Contractor Management: Manage contractors including inductions, supervision, monitoring and assistance where required.
- Regulatory Compliance: Communicate with the Environmental Agency and other regulatory bodies.
- Project Management: Take the role of Project Manager during works on site.
- Travel and Site Visits: Travel to other sites within the group (c. 10% of the time).
- Project Experience: Experience managing projects, including liaising with suppliers, creating business cases, and seeing projects through to completion.
- Environmental Permits: Any experience with Environmental Permits or communicating with the Environmental Agency would be ideal.
- Driving License: Full Driving License.
