About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Computing Teacher to join our team at a Good School in Cambridge. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality computing lessons to students at KS3 and KS5 levels.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and well-resourced department with a highly experienced head of department. Our client welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas teachers with a formal teaching qualification and QTS.

The ideal candidate should have excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students of various abilities. A strong understanding of computing concepts and technologies is also essential.

In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of approximately £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality computing lessons to students at KS3 and KS5 levels.
  • To develop and implement engaging computing curricula that meet the needs of all students.
  • To assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
  • To contribute to the development of the computing department and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
