Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
  • Drive sales growth through effective sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
  • Assist with stock management, including ordering and receiving stock
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety and cash handling
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of wine and spirits products
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including payroll and marketing

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Leadership qualities and ability to motivate a team
  • Previous experience of an EPOS system and cash handling
  • Previous experience of stock handling and control
  • Maths and English GCSE (Grade C or above) or equivalent

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an off-licence environment
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
  • Interest and/or knowledge of wine
