Communications Officer

We are seeking an experienced Communications Senior Officer to join our team at Tameside Council. As a key member of our Communications team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality communications to our stakeholders, including pension fund members and other external parties.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage our target audiences.
- Write and design engaging content for our website, intranet, and social media channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Analyse data and feedback to inform communication strategies and improve outcomes.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to our stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and presentational skills.
- Strong written skills and ability to collect and analyse data.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and outcomes.
- Experience in delivering communications or customer services.
